Topping our list of emerging applications by monthly active users this week was Custom Tab | Arrow #3, a page tab application builder from Woobox. The rest of our list was made up mostly of games, though sports social reader GiveMeFootball and social networking app Path

No. 2 was Disney’s Ghosts of Mistwood, which reached 500,000 MAU this week. Zynga’s The Ville is just short of the milestone, coming in at No. 3. Zynga’s Ruby Blast came in at No. 14.

No. 4 was GifBoom, an app for iPhone and Android allows users to create animated gifs and share them on the social network. No. 6 Via.Me is another mobile app, this one allows users to share both photos and videos.

No. 8 Crazy Penguin Wars is a multiplayer shooter game for the Facebook canvas. No. 9 GiveMeFootball is a social reader app for Football news. No. 18 UFC.TV App is a website integration for the UFC, which uses Facebook login but not Open Graph, as it doesn’t appear to share user activity to Timeline.

Titles on our list gained the most MAU of any apps on the platform, growing from between 540,000 and 2.1 million MAU, based on our AppData tracking service.

Popular beverage Coke Zero has seen substantial daily growth from a movie tie-in with The Amazing Spider-Man, released this week. As seen in the graph below, the page has grown steadily from an influx of new likes which can be seen in green. The growth has occurred throughout the month of June and is likely the result of ads bought before the movie’s release.

Oreo has seen a huge increase in weekly growth thanks to publicity received for a post featuring a rainbow Oreo. The post has gone viral with many users praising Oreo for their support of gay pride. Coinciding with San Francisco’s Pride Parade weekend, the company has strategically engaged with a very responsive audience – gay rights activists.

FreshPlanet’s SongPop is continuing to outperform the other fastest-growing Facebook games by daily active users, its 400,000 DAU this week (a 27 percent gain) let it take the top spot on the list.

EA’s SimCity Social debuted on the list this week, taking the No. 2 spot with 329,400 DAU for a 54,900 percent gain. Konami’s Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM came in at No. 3, bringing in 150,000 DAU for a 188 percent increase. Social Point’s Dragon City snagged the No. 4 position with a 16 percent growth of 110,000 DAU. Finally, King.com’s Pyramid Solitaire Saga grabbed the No. 5 spot with its 100,000 DAU, up 8 percent.

Five other game on the list show gains greater than 100 percent. Hangman was up by 20,000 MAU, a 200 percent increase. LottoRace’s eponymous LottoRace took in 19,997 DAU, a 666,567 percent growth. IGG’s Spanish-language role-playing game GodsWar: El Mejor 3D Juego De Fantasía (“GodsWar: The Best 3D Fantasy Game”) grew by 16,000 DAU, a 400 percent growth. IGG had another RPG appear on the list: The recently-launched Moonlight Online bringing in 13,000 DAU for a 186 percent gain. Finally, the Spanish-language pet sim ¿Qué piensas acerca de mí? (“What do you think about me?”) grew by 12,000 DAU, a 150 percent increase.
