2010 will go down as the year that Facebook Pages stormed onto the scene. Developed as a way to give your blog, company, non-profit, sports team, fan page, and more, their own presence on Facebook. Without a doubt, there is much more value in having a FaceBook Page then there is against it. One example is that it is another way to easily to extend your outreach and it’s the exact opposite of email marketing, where you lose potential users with each mailing vs. the ability to add and gain new users with each communication. If were a little late to the “FB Pages Party” and you were not able to secure the holy grail of Username / Vanity URLs (example: facebook.com/3DTVS ) then you will be excited to know that Facebook has provided a way for you to Create Alias’s for each FB Page that you own or admin. Think of it as a shortened URL that will point directly at your FB Page.
Create an Alias for your Facebook Page:
Step 1 - Go to your FB Page, select Edit, select Marketing (left column), then Create Alias
Step 2 - Type in your Alias (remember, if your page currently has an alias then you cannot change it. Also, your page must have more than 25 "Likes" in order to apply for an alias)
Step 3 - After selecting your Alias, you will then have the option to set that alias to point to your FB Page.
This is an easy way to setup aliases for all of your FB Pages. Feel free to share your newly created aliases below!

My page have 25 ” I Like “s..
But when I click on Create Alias, the page to choose an username won’t show the second box, so I can’t change my Page username.
What do I do?

Don’t see the confirmation email? Click the button below to resend.”
